Chain Maille Jewelry: Full Persian Weave

In these paired half-day workshops, we will explore the classic Full Persian weave in the morning, and then level-up in the afternoon by combining Full Persian with the Vipera Berus weave. Take one or take both and have a bracelet to keep and a bracelet to give as a special holiday gift!

This workshop, the morning session from 10 am–1 pm, is all about the Full Persian: Designed for chain maille beginners, but more experienced students are also welcome, we will begin with a presentation covering the basics of chain maille (using tools, handling jump rings, opening/closing techniques, common weaving problems and fixes, chain maille terminology, etc.). After the presentation, students will learn the Full Persian weave and then apply the technique to make a Full Persian chain bracelet.

Want more? Join us for the second half of the day in our afternoon workshop all about the Vipera Berus Full Persian from 2 pm-5 pm. The afternoon session is designed for anyone who attended the morning session or anyone with intermediate level chain maille experience.  Students will learn how to construct the Full Persian weave and how combine it with Vipera Berus. The result is a substantial chain bracelet that really makes a statement. Separate registration for the Vipera Berus workshop is required to attend - get details and register here.

Please be advised: Registration for our onsite classes closes one week before the class start date.
