Silicone Mold Making For Wax Injection
This hands-on, two-day virtual class covers the full process of creating high-quality silicone molds for wax injection and lost wax casting. Class instruction and demonstrations will go over model preparation, how to use the mold box, silicone pouring, and mold cutting.
This course is ideal for jewelers, small scale sculptors, or anyone interested in producing repeatable wax patterns for casting. No prior experience required—just bring your creativity and a master model to mold!
Meet the instructor
Growing up in both America and Singapore has shaped Winona’s work to reflect the concepts of two cultures crossing over — focusing on her Chinese heritage, through the lens of utility, protection, decoration, and tactility. She aims to explore more about her cultural background through an eclectic range of artistic practices from video-making, hobby TTRPG dice-making, and music to fine-art, metalsmithing, and computer-aided design. She completed her BFA at the Oregon College of Art and Craft in 2019.
Over the last 5 years she's built multiple small businesses around TTRPG dice making, digital fabrication jewelry all while working full-time on award-winning stop motion animation feature length film and television series.
Winona currently resides and practices in Portland, Oregon, working as a small business owner with Lil' Bug Studios, teaching at Ninety Twenty Workshops in the evenings and weekends.
