Hailey Pollock (She/Her)
Hailey is an artist mainly working in metal, ceramic, and leather who grew up in New
Hampshire but made her way to Massachusetts for college and fell in love with the historic New Bedford area. In 2019, she received a dual BFA in Jewelry/Metalsmithing and Ceramics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Out of school, she worked in jewelry production before beginning a year long residency (2020-2021) at the Worcester Center For Crafts. There she discovered her love for teaching and sharing her enthusiasm for making. Hailey's personal studio -where the magic happens- is fittingly in an antique mill building, located at Hatch Street Studios in New Bedford, Studio 304. In her studio she creates meticulously detailed pieces that draw inspiration from ancient art, architecture, and history. She aims for each of her pieces to be physical objects that tell hints of a story. She joins Metalwerx as an instructor specializing in wax carving and lost wax casting. You can also find her at Paradise Jewelry in Dartmouth MA where she works in jewelry repair.
