Maha has been teaching art in high school since 2014, and developed a high school metalworking and jewelry program for her school in Hawaii. In that program, she taught basic metalworking skills, as well as more advanced techniques such as enameling and chasing and repousse. Some of Maha's high school students have won awards for their metalwork and enameling at the regional Scholastic and Writing competition. In addition to high school, she has also taught adult workshops in ceramics and enameling both in Hawaii and Idaho. Her favorite techniques are enameling, chasing and repousse, stamping, and die striking.
