Forged Copper Roses

Make a wonderful Valentine's day gifts for your special someone or just brighten your own day with lifelike and eternal copper roses!

Learn to add volume to flat copper sheet, and texture to copper wire as we form these materials into life-like metal roses. You will learn how to cut out patterns in metal, how to shape them into individual components, how to combine them into a finished form, and then how to add detail and individuality to your finished flower. Depending on your skill-level and familiarity with the processes covered, you can expect to come away with at least one finished rose, and possibly as many as three or four. There is room for experimentation with your flower's form, but for the majority of the class we will be focusing on the tried-and-true rose.

Please be advised: Registration for onsite classes closes one week before the class start date.
